In this issue we will have a list of recommended and purely classic consoles, handhelds, and (WOAH) virtual reality.
CONSOLES: NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) An all time classic. Might be a bit pricey, but you can play classics like the Legend of Zelda, Mario, or Metroid. SNES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System) An upgrade from the previous. If you get a special add-on, you can even play Game Boy games on it! Nintendo 64 Father of LOZ Majora's Mask, and home to some great Mario Kart, consider this. Playstation I The first Playstation to enter the quad of Sony's consoles. Plays great games like Ghost in the Shell, QBert, Ultimate Ponq, and has some good sports games to ranging from football to pool. XBox (First gen) The original XBox, came long before Xbox 360 or Xbox One. Plays games like the original LEGO Star Wars, Tomb Raider, and Tetris Worlds. HANDHELDS Game Boy The first handheld to start it all! The Game Boy plays in background color of green, blue, or red. Has no back light, but has add-ons like the Light Boy, improving game play. You can probably find these for $40 out of the box. Game Boy Color A colored version of the Game Boy. Most of these were produced in a clear plastic. Game Boy Advance Made to trump all the others. Plays more advanced games, with full color, can play Game Boy and Game Boy Color games, too. This brought us great games like Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Four Swords Adventure. Game Boy Advance SP A Game Boy Advance, except more DS-like. It can close and open, and has two-separate screens. Can only play Game Boy Advance games. Game Boy Micro The best of the rest. The Game Boy Micro is hard to find, and has high prices. It has a superior back light to other GBA systems, plays only GBA games, and has a detachable face plate that can be replaced for customization. VR (Whaaaaat?) Virtual Boy The only classic VR, Nintendo's first attempt at 3D gaming. Only playable in red. Great games like Mario Clash.
